1. SS Montgomery salvage project completed with Resolve Marine

Crane working aboard NP562 on the SS Richard Montgomery project

Dutch Offshore has completed a project with Resolve Marine in the United Kingdom, supporting the removal of the masts from the SS Richard Montgomery in the Thames Estuary. We supplied our 220-tonne heavy-duty crane and dedicated crane operators, working aboard Neptune’s NP562.

The historic wreck required a carefully planned approach to the mast removal. With the crane installed on the NP562, our operators carried out the lifting work for Resolve Marine. We provided both the crane and the crew to operate it throughout our involvement in the project.

2. NP562 — Promptly available

Dutch Offshore crawler crane secured on deck

Neptune’s NP562 is promptly available in combination with our Sennebogen 6220 HD, built in 2026. The self-propelled barge measures 65 m in overall length and 19 m in moulded breadth, with a depth at side of 4 m and three heavy-duty walking spuds. The 6220 is a 220-tonne-class heavy-duty crawler crane. The crane can be configured for lifting operations, construction work, dredging, stone dumping, relocation work and salvage operations. Contact us to discuss the right configuration for your project.
